After struggling for some time with a jointed 4×6 and two clamps as a rip fence on my bandsaw, I found this video describing a DIY fence based on a Harbor Freight clamp. I just happened to have a couple of those clamps, so I made my own.
Setting the fence is pretty easy–measure front and back, align with a square, and tighten the clamp.
